Your contribution
As our Global Trade Compliance Licensing Analyst, you are vital in maintaining our world-leading position here at TeledyneFLIR Systems. Your role is to ensure legal compliance with relevant (U.S., EU and Swedish) export regulations associated with trading export-controlled products. When we make sales and want to deliver on our business opportunities, you'll review sales orders and provide guidance to identify accurately export authorization requirements for international shipments. You'll have frequent contact with our sales and service team, the business development and other internal stakeholders, customers, and different licensing authorities to make sure we gather the proper documentation. You contribute to our internal trade compliance policies and procedures and help identify compliance training needs and provide GTC-related training to the internal customers.
Your main responsibilities
This job has a big range of varieaty in tasks and responsibilites and as one of the interfaces with external customers you need to be able to provide guidance to customers in gathering the correct export compliance documentation. You will collaborate closely with your global sales and service teams, other internal customers, and different licensing authorities. You have to deal with problem solving and ad-hoc tasks and you will be working in an SAP- environment. Some of the maintasks are:
- Identify accurately export authorization requirements for international shipments
- Review sales and service orders for required export clauses in a timely matter
- Keep proficient record keeping
- Provide weekly reports and feedback on order/license status to the sales and service coordinators and other internal customers
- Continuously work with improving working processes to support the business even better
What we are looking for;

You need to be both responsive and a skilled communicator both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge about Swedish, EU and US global trade compliance regulations and requirements (ECCN, ITAR, DU, ML) especially good with EU dual use export controls
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and oral
- Experience with working with SAP-GTS is a strong advantage
